This Panasonic camera gives you abundance of manual controls, and gives you assistance when using those manual controls. Besides all of the features you may need from a personal digital camera, I’ve found that this Panasonic camera offers two things that make it considerable. They are Advanced Scene Mode and Intelligent Auto Mode.

The Advanced Scene Mode of this Panasonic camera gives you manual control using some of scene modes. You can select one of the Portrait, Sports, Landscape and Night portrait modes according to the shooting condition. When selecting the Portrait or Sports mode, you can then choose outdoor or indoor settings.

The Intelligent Auto Mode designed to help user that not quite ready for complete manual control. You don’t have to do anything manually. Intelligent Scene Selector chooses the mode that best fits the situation. There are five modes that you can select on this feature. MEGA Optical Image Stabilization (O.I.S.) of this Panasonic camera helps prevent blurring from hand-shake. This is really help when you trying to take a blur-free picture with no tripod.

When you are trying to shoot a moving subject, it is also possible for you to get a blur-free picture by its Intelligent ISO Control. This Panasonic camera’s Face Detection helps generate clear images by optimizing the focus and exposure settings. Then, the Intelligent Scene Selector can recognize the shooting atmosphere and will automatically select the suitable scene mode from: Scenery, Portrait, Macro, Night Portrait or Night Scenery mode.

Other mode of this Panasonic camera’s Intelligent Auto Mode is Quick AF. The Quick AF (auto focus) system will start focus on the subject by just pointing the camera to the subject, as a result it will minimize the AF time.
