Canon Powershot A520 is a 4 megapixel digital camera with a 4x optical zoom lens (equivalent to 35-140mm on a 35mm camera). Made out of silver metal and plastic, the Canon A520 is fairly compact and light as it measures 3.6 x 2.5 x 1.5 inches (90.7 x 64.0 x 38.4 mm) and weighs just 6.3 ounces (180 grams).

Cons
Its small viewing screen (1.8″ TFT LCD) is too small for several customers who want to preview their images on a larger screen.
As the ISO setting increases, pictures tend to have more noise. The images are extremely noisy at ISO200 and ISO400.
Overall
For less than $300, the Canon A520 is an excellent all round camera, with a decent 4x optical zoom lens, and features to outfit every need, from basic point and shoot operation. The camera also offers full manual controls.
