Samsung NV3 Digital Camera

The Samsung NV3 is an ultra-slim pocket digital camera with fresh new looks from Samsung and has unique feature sets. The all metal body is finished in a very attractive smooth matt black with brushed steel details. It measures 95 x 57 x18mm (3.7 x 2.2 x 0.7in) and weighs just about 163 grams (5.7 ounces).

The NV3 sports a 7.2 megapixel resolution with a 3x optical zoom (equivalent to 38 – 114mm on 35mm camera). There’s no optical viewfinder on the camera. It is equipped with a large 2.5 LCD monitor to display or line up your shot. However, some users report that the LCD does not perform well outdoors.

The auto focus (AF) system on the Samsung NV3 digital camera is really amazing. It can focus as close as 80 cm while in normal AF. If you switch over to “auto macro”, you can get as close as 5 cm. Furthermore, you can focus as close as 1 cm by using “super macro”.

Not like common compact digital cameras, you can use the Samsung NV3 as your personal media player. The NV3 is packed with mp3 player to play your MP3 and WAV audio files on the built-in stereo speakers or viewing video files that you have downloaded to the camera. Moreover, it can even be used for reading text files as the NV3 is featured with TextViewer mode. The NV3 uses a rechargeable lithium ion battery pack for power.
