Polaroid has been renowned as the worldwide leader in instant photography. It reminds me to my childhood when my parents took me to the zoo. While walking around the zoo, a “Polaroid man”, that’s what we called him, came to us and offered to take our photo. Using Polaroid camera, he did it and voila we got our photo in a couple minutes. I was amazed at the time.
Polaroid PoGo Instant Digital Camera
Polaroid continues to produce their ‘instant camera’ in a new way with the announcement of PoGo Instant Digital Camera. Debuting in spring 2009 at around $200, this Polaroid digital camera combines Polaroid’s 2008 breakthrough pocket printer with a digital camera. Even, Polaroid claims that PoGo Instant Digital Camera is the first portable digital camera and instant printer combination available in the United States and Europe.
The Polaroid PoGo is easy to use and small enough to fit into the palm of your hand. This Polaroid digital camera lets you share the magic of the moment instantly since you can print your digital photos directly from the camera.

Just browse the captured digital images on the PoGo Polaroid digital camera, and then choose the ones you want to print. The images can be cropped and edited and then printed in less than a minute. The images are printed onto Zink Photo Paper from Zink Imaging. This paper, instead of ink, uses embedded, heat-activated dye crystals to become immediately dry to the touch.
The 2 x 3 inches borderless, color images are smudge-proof, water-resistant and tear-proof and what’s more they also have a peel-off backing, giving you the option to stick the photos in books, on boards or anywhere the moment calls for!
