If you are one of those who love to capture the beauty under water, this could be a good news for you. General Imaging, the world licensee of GE digital cameras has launched a new waterproof digital camera for you to enjoy – the G5WP.
It is said that this new camera will be sold under the GE’s “Active Series” of cameras. This can be interesting to see as the other competitor, Samsung, also release a new underwater camera with the same specifications, the AQ 100.
The G5WP specs:
12.2 megapixel- 4x internal zoom
- video recording capabilities
- metal construction
- well-built design
- works up to 5 meters under water
- comes in ocean blue, graphite gray and raspberry red
The G5WP is expected to be available at stores by mid 2010 with a price tag of around $180.
