This system allows for a fast and smooth setup which means the tripod can be opened in less than 15 seconds. Pull the leg down and tighten the locks individually after simply loosen all the twist locks on each leg at the same time.

Flexibility

The new Gitzo tripods offer flexibility to the users. You now have the ability to attach the upper disc directly to the upper casting. Furthermore, you can remove the column and reattach and lock in the upper disc directly to the tripod effortlessly by simply unscrewing it, bolt and center the column.
